- Body Pattern: A dense, symmetrical scrollwork of blooming lotuses and curling vines wrapping around the main body.
- Borders: Detailed geometric ruyi-head clouds frame the shoulders, while a stylized row of leaf-shaped panels (lappets) rings the bottom base.
Decorative Similarities
While authentic antique versions date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, this specific style is highly replicated today. Modern high-quality hand-painted reproductions are widely produced in Jingdezhen (China’s famous porcelain capital) and are highly popular for vintage-style home decor.
