This object is a vintage metal jeweled candle holder and trinket box. It features a gothic or bohemian style framework crafted from dark wrought iron or steel, supported by ball feet at the base.
Key Design Features
- Jeweled Frame: The upper trim holds a horizontal sequence of circular, multi-colored glass cabochons (red, amber yellow, clear, and pink).
- Central Focal Piece: The front panel features a circular cutout displaying a larger, prominent orange-red glass gem secured tightly in place by wrapped copper wire filaments.
- Embossed Detailing: The black metallic panels are decorated with ornate, relief-molded corner scrollwork reminiscent of classical Victorian or Moroccan metalcraft.
